Hi! I’m Sheri Smith and I started my journey overseas in Spain where I worked for 5 years with a team, making disciples and sharing the love of Christ to the people there. Then in 2017 I married my husband, Matthew, who is from the UK and I felt led by God to move here. After moving I started to do similar work to what I did in Spain. I was also a mentor in a training program that equips overseas workers and was welcoming refugees and immigrants in Christ’s love.

In 2022, though, I stepped back for a time to help raise our two young boys, Ben and Owen. Now that they are a bit older, I am very excited to start work again.

I joined OM this year and am eager to work with the team here in this hyper-diverse city to show God’s love and share the gospel with those who may have never been able to hear before. My desire is to work again with refugees and immigrants and share with them the hope and love of Christ.
