About OM Ships An OM Ship is like a microcosm of the world – a place where people from every nation, with diverse skills and life experiences unite to serve God. Together they support each other as they travel to some of the world’s most remote communities sharing knowledge, help and hope. Serving as Part of God's Mission People need to hear about the love of Jesus and see His love impacting their lives and communities. OM’s Ship Ministry is equipped and ideally positioned to help change the trajectory of the three billion people around the world who haven’t heard about Jesus. God is using this platform to disciple Jesus followers to live out love by sharing the life-changing message of the Kingdom of God with all people in every nation. As people encounter Jesus, lasting transformation takes place as they understand more about our amazing God. Fifty Years of Faithfulness How it started Since 1970, OM’s Ship Ministry has brought the world’s largest floating bookfairs to nearly 500 individual ports in more than 150 countries. Over the last five decades, more than 49 million visitors have come aboard our vessels. The history Meet Logos Hope What she does Purchased in 2004, and launched into active service in 2009, Logos Hope is OM’s largest ship. Logos Hope visits each port for several weeks at a time and opens the gangways to hundreds and sometimes thousands of visitors each day. On average, over one million visitors have been welcomed on board every year! The floating book fair offers over 5,000 titles, providing many visitors their first-ever opportunity to purchase quality educational and literature. Her amazing crew An international crew and staff of volunteers live and work on the ship. Teams from the ship go into surrounding areas to supply aid and community care. In each port, the ship's crew joins local organisations to bring hope and show love to people whatever their circumstance, culture or background. Meet Doulos Hope 'Servant of Hope' OM's Ship Ministry launched Doulos Hope in 2023. Meaning 'Servant of Hope', she brings many fresh and exciting advantages to our ministry. This smaller, agile vessel can operate in shallower waters and access ports that have been beyond the reach of her sister ship, Logos Hope. She is expected to serve largely in East Asia and Pacific regions. The ship has six decks with a brand-new visitor experience area, bookfair and café. Manage Cookie Preferences
