Introduction

The world often celebrates Christmas with shopping bags and busy streets, yet it leaves us longing for more. True joy cannot be wrapped or bought - it’s boundless, overflowing, and life-giving. It is a deep-seated gladness living in us through the Holy Spirit that can be found even in the midst of hardship. Joy is a gift from God that grows the more it is shared.

Story

At a recent outreach, the OM Ghana team met a teenage girl named Bernice. She had been ill for five years and was being supported by her two sisters. Bernice could hardly move her legs, nor could she see, hear or talk. Seeing the challenges this girl faced, the team laid hands on her and prayed. God heard their prayers and healed Bernice completely. She could walk, jump, dance and even speak. Overwhelmed, Bernice wept with joy. Bernice and her family attended the evening outreach programme with 400 other people from the village. Many people came to faith that night, including Bernice and her whole family.
