Nem is orignially from Pembrokeshire in South Wales. She studied youth work and ministry and has worked in both church and secular settings.

After joining OM in 2015 she served for 7 and a half years with the team in Italy, coordinating Short term mission and later the team based in Pisa. In 2023 she moved to serve the OM team in Ireland, intially helping with people care and discipleship.

In May 2025 she was appointed as the National Director of OM Ireland, leading the team and the field there.  She is also still currently the Director for the Joshua Journey programme, which is a year long leadership development programme for young leaders in OM.
