Sailing with a message of hope: Logos Hope 2026

Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair, continues a legacy that began in 1970 with the original Logos. Since then, the ship and its predecessors have visited over 480 ports across more than 150 countries, welcoming over 50 million visitors. Logos Hope made her inaugural visit to the United Kingdom in the spring of 2009, docking in Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, and London. We eagerly anticipate her return to the UK in 2026 and pray that many will come to faith through this visit, while those already in Christ will be strengthened in their spiritual journey.

May 01

Pray for God’s abundant provision as plans for the Logos Hope 2026 visit move forward. Ask that He would raise up generous partners and donors who share the vision and are eager to invest in Kingdom impact.

May 02

Pray that churches across the UK would come together in unity and collaboration, standing as one body to welcome and support Logos Hope’s ministry, reflecting Christ’s love through shared vision and service.

May 03

Ask that many hearts would be touched and inspired by the Holy Spirit during the ship’s visit, encouraging believers to step boldly into God’s purpose and engage passionately in His global work.

May 04

Pray that lasting relationships and partnerships would be formed between OM, local churches, and other organisations, strengthening the collective impact for God’s Kingdom both locally and globally.

May 05

Give thanks that Logos Hope continues to be a vessel of grace carrying hope, in the form of literature & God’s Word, across the seas.

May 06

Pray for the 2026 UK visit, that every port—London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Belfast and Liverpool—will experience God’s presence through the ship’s outreach.

Ask that many visitors be inspired and emboldened in their faith as they come aboard, learning more about the invitation to share this message of hope.

Pray that those already in Christ who visit Logos Hope will be strengthened in faith, vision, and commitment to share the God’s good news in their own communities.

Let’s pray that each book, conversation, and event aboard the ship becomes a seed of transformation that bears eternal fruit.

May 10

Pray as the ship visits Scheveningen, Netherlands in May; give thanks for seeds sown in Seville, Spain in April; and ask for God’s leading and provision in Hamburg, Germany & London, UK in June.

May 11

Ask for divine protection over the vessel, crew, and equipment throughout all preparations and port visits. Protection in the seen and unseen realm.

May 12

Pray that the ship’s European tour would be an encouraging and fruitful voyage, touching hearts far beyond the ports visited.

May 13

Ask God to prepare the hearts of UK communities to receive the ship’s message and to open doors for collaboration with local churches.

May 14

Pray that the ship’s presence in port cities will unite believers across denominations in a shared mission to reach their neighbours.

May 15

Let’s pray that this upcoming visit would play an outstanding role in shaping the next generation of the UK Church and direct their hearts towards mission.

Pray that believers across the UK will actively participate—inviting friends, families, and neighbours to come aboard and be inspired by all the stories the ship has to share.

May 17

Ask God to raise up prayer partners and intercessors who will faithfully cover every stage of the ship’s journey in prayer.

May 18

Ask the Lord that churches and mission groups across the UK will work together to maximise outreach opportunities during the visit.

May 19

Pray for effective communication and publicity, that news of the ship’s arrival spreads widely and reaches receptive hearts. Who might you invite to the ship?

Let’s pray that Romans 10:14 becomes reality, as many people may be hearing of Christ for the first time through outreaches during this time.

Ask the Lord that many hearts be deeply touched and transformed as we share the love of Jesus during the ship’s tour, inspiring visitors to respond boldly to God’s invitation.

May 22

Pray that volunteers and crew members will serve with humility and joy, demonstrating Christ’s love through every interaction. May the conversations be constructive in every way. 

May 23

Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide every programme and event, making them instruments of grace and truth.

May 24

Ask God to draw people from every walk of life—students, families, and professionals—to step aboard and be encouraged by the message of hope.

May 25

Ask for strength, unity, and resilience among the crew and staff as they prepare, travel, and serve.

May 26

Thank God for His promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8, that He will provide all that is needed for fruitful ministry through OM’s Ship Ministry.

May 27

Pray for God’s abundant provision—financial, logistical, and spiritual—as we have taken this step of faith and have experienced his goodness already. Let’s continue to seek Jehovah Jireh who provides in unexpected ways.

May 28

Pray that every volunteer and partner organisation will abound in good works, using their gifts to advance the Gospel through the ship ministry. Let’s pray for the grace to stay faithful in service to the Lord who is always faithful to us.

Please pray for the ship’s crew, made up of people from many nations, and for favour in obtaining visas needed for their visit to the UK.

May 30

Ask the Lord for 100-fold harvest, as we have long anticipated the Logos Hope visit, let’s pray that God would crown our efforts with success, and will multiply every investment (time, energy and efforts). 

May 31

Pray for a lasting impact of the ship visit, may Logos Hope always sail with the message of Hope and fill all those who visit with everlasting joy.
