18.06.2026 - 12:00pm

Dear friends,

We are saddened to let you know that Logos Hope’s arrival in London has been delayed. This change is due to the tugboats required to help the ship navigate the Thames River being reassigned unexpectedly. The ship is currently expected to be open to the public, at the ExCeL Centre Waterfront, from 2:00 pm on Sunday, 21 June 2026.

We realise that this is a significant disappointment and inconvenience for many, and we sincerely apologise to everyone who has been preparing to visit Logos Hope during her first days in London.

Unfortunately, this change means that our onboard event and tour programme for Friday and Saturday will be affected by this change.

Our teams on the ground are currently exploring alternative venues and/or dates for events. We will be in touch with those who have booked tickets as soon as possible with further updates.

The TeenStreet On Board event has been moved to Friday, 26 June 2026 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Those who have booked tickets for this event will receive further communication regarding this schedule change.

If you have booked a tour of Logos Hope before 2:00 pm on Sunday, 21 June 2026, your tickets will automatically be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund for your payment.

At present, we expect all other events and tours to continue as planned.

We will contact you as soon as possible if there are any further changes. In addition, we will be posting FAQ and updates to this webpage to keep everyone informed as quickly as we can and ask that you check this page ahead of making any calls.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through these unexpected circumstances. Please accept our apologies for this change in plans.

We recognise how difficult this situation is for everyone involved, and trust that the Lord will use this for His Glory and Kingdom. We invite you to pray with us for God's guidance and wisdom as we continue preparations for the visit.

God bless all,

Richard Langmead

Frequently Asked Questions

This change in schedule is due to the tugboats required to help the Logos Hope navigate the Thames River being reassigned unexpectedly to another ship. This means that Logos Hope was not able to make the anticipated entry slot into the ExCeL Centre.

Logos Hope is anchored off the Thames Estuary in safe waters, as is usual for ships, waiting for a pilot to bring her into London. Everyone onboard is safe and sound.

She is expected in the Excel quayside on the evening of Saturday, 20 June 2026.

She is expected to be open to visitors from 2pm on Sunday, 21 June 2026.

If you were planning to visit on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th, we are very sorry, but the ship will not yet have arrived and therefore will not be open to visitors. Logos Hope is currently expected to open to visitors on Sunday 21st at 2pm. If your visit is planned for Sunday afternoon onwards, please check this webpage for the latest update before travelling.

Yes, if your booked tour or event is cancelled because of the delayed arrival of Logos Hope, you will receive a refund.

However, where possible, we would warmly encourage you to rebook for another date rather than cancel your visit altogether. The ship is still coming, and the crew would love to welcome you on board.

As this delay has created an unexpected impact on our booking system, we will need a little time to put the rebooking and refund process in place. Thank you for your patience as we work through this.

We do not currently expect the arrival time to change again. However, because some of the arrangements depend on external contractors and port logistics, there remains a small possibility of further change.

Please check this webpage for the latest official status updates and news. To avoid confusion, we encourage everyone to rely on the website rather than informal updates or rumours.
