Matthew Skirton UK Chief Executive Expand Matthew Skirton is from the UK but has spent more than half of his life serving in Eastern Europe. Together with his wife, Helen, he pioneered OM’s work in Moldova in the mid-1990s, handing over field leadership in March 2015. He also served as Regional Leader for OM in Eastern Europe for seven years. Matthew took on the role of UK Chief Executive of OM in 2016.
Andrew Berry Director of People in Mission Expand Andrew's first encounter with OM was at a bookstore run by STL (Send the Light). After pastoring various churches in the USA for over 17 years, Andrew and his wife, Marcia, moved to France with their family as missionaries to an international church. Whilst there for eight years, they helped plant a French-speaking church. Andrew rejoined OM as Team Leader of our Carlisle office in 2013 before taking on leadership of OM's outreach ministry among migrant communities in the UK.
Jaco Swart Director of Finance Expand Jaco Swart hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. He graduated with a Management Accountancy degree in 1999. After qualifying, he worked in the UK and South Africa. He also completed his Theology degree and PGCE in Higher Education. Over the past 10 years, he helped facilitate and lectured in Bible schools in Southern and East Africa and Northern Europe. Jaco, along with his wife, Leanne, and their five children, joined OM in August 2020 as Director of Finance.
Chris Lawley Director of Strategic Partnerships Expand Chris joined OM in May 2022. Prior to this, he held a number of senior roles within the Prestige Motor Industry. He has experience in Marketing, Customer Support, Sales Training and is currently two thirds through his accounting qualifications. Chris is married with three children and three grandchildren.
Sandie Davies Director of Community Expand Sandie is from Northern Ireland and joined OM in 1985. She served initially for four years in Belgium and the Indian Subcontinent, then rejoined with her husband, Steve, in 1996 with their two young children, and spent 12 years overseas (Doulos and South Asia). Whilst working in the personnel team in the UK, Sandie’s interest in pastoral care led her to complete an MA in member care. She joined the leadership team in October 2023 as Director of Community
