Come and join Go 4 Adventure in Moldova! Join us for a unique mission adventure that you don’t want to miss! In the Go 4 Adventure, you will “Go” throughout Moldova utilising “4” different modes of transportation: trekking, cycling, train, and horse & cart. The team will embark upon an exciting adventure of traveling from village to village, engaging with the culture as you stay in believer’s homes, encouraging small groups of believers, and partnering with local churches to share the Gospel. You will have the opportunity to organise kid’s programmes, youth outreaches, visiting families and elderly in their homes, and possibilities for helping practically where needed in every village visited. Through this cross-cultural experience, you will have the amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with God. Come and join Go 4 Adventure in Moldova! Accommodation You will stay at the OM centre on arrival & before departure where you will have your debrief. During the outreach you will sleep in tents some nights and other nights you may either sleep in a church building or with local families. Please note that it may not be possible for groups, families or married couples to stay together in the same accommodation. Food Good Moldovan food is provided. Sometimes you will have to prepare your own meals together as a team. Please advise us if you have any special dietary requirements. Travel Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chisinau, Moldova (RMO). Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train, or bus station. The dates above include the arrival and departure days. Please do not book flights unless you have received an official acceptance email from the short term opportunities team. Health Participants must be in good health and physically able to carry a backpack, stand, bend, lift, walk up to 15 km per day and do other physical activities as needed. Everything you take for this outreach must be carried on your back. Visa British citizens do not require a visa to enter Moldova for less than 90 days. All other passports you should check if a visa is required. OM Moldova are not able to provide a Letter of Invitation in every case. Please check if you will require one on this website and if you do, please contact us about this before applying. Please note that it is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure they obtain the necessary visa(s) required for entry into the country that they plan to visit. We strongly recommend that all visa applications be submitted to the relevant consular website as per their specified requirements well in advance of your intended travel date, this could be up to 8-12 weeks in advance. If a visa is denied or not obtained in time, we are unable to offer any reimbursement for flight costs or any other travel-related expenses. All bookings are made at the traveller’s own risk, and we advise confirming placement/outreach approval before making any non-refundable travel arrangements. Notes Price is subject to change according to the exchange rate. Individuals applying must be 18 or over. Teenagers are welcome to apply as part of a youth group or family, but must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult. All youth applying must be able to cycle, carry their own backpack and walk up to 15 km a day. Please talk to us before registering minors. As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost up to an additional £30. If there are not enough participants, we will propose another option.
