Moldova: Church Partnership This option is for groups of 6-15 people to start a partnership with a church plant in Moldova and help reach the least reached with the Gospel! Church groups or ministry teams are invited to adopt a new church plant in a least reach village of Moldova. This is a village that has had little access to the gospel and discipleship and considered to be the most unreached area of the country. Teams will travel to a village together to partner with a local church planting ministry, with the goal of building a long-term relationship with this church and see a vibrant community among the least reached grow. Your outreach with the church will involve a kids programme, youth work, visiting the elderly, poor and lonely with food parcels and sharing the Good News. The team can help lead Bible studies and church services. We encourage each person to use their gifts and abilities in unique ways to build relationships and see vibrant communities of Jesus followers forming across Moldova. The goal would be to continue this relationship and partnership for long-term through praying, giving and sending people. Under 18's are welcome to apply but must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult Suitable for This option is for Church groups of 6-15 people Participant Profile If your team has a passion and heart for the least reached in Moldova to be reached with the love of Jesus, then we welcome your church group or ministry team to partner with a local church by coming for an outreach and support ministry in a least reached village of Moldova. Accommodation You will stay in Chisinau in OM accommodation upon arrival and before departure. During the outreach you will sleep in the church building or with local families. Please note that it may not be possible for groups, families or married couples to remain together in the same accommodation. Food Good Moldovan food is provided. Sometimes you will need to prepare your own meals as a team. Please come ready to serve together alongside the team and advise us if you have dietary restrictions. Travel Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chisinau, Moldova (RMO). Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train, or bus station and taken back to the airport, train or bus station after the outreach. The dates above include the arrival and departure days. Please do not book flights unless you have received an official acceptance email from the short-term opportunities team. Health Participants must be in good health for the various physical activities as needed. Participants must have adequate health and travel insurance. Visa British citizens do not require a visa to enter Moldova for less than 90 days. All other passports you should check if a visa is required. Please note that it is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure they obtain the necessary visa(s) required for entry into the country that they plan to visit. This excludes destination countries for Ships related travel. We strongly recommend that all visa applications be submitted to the relevant consular website as per their specified requirements well in advance of your intended travel date, this could be up to 8-12 weeks in advance. If a visa is denied or not obtained in time, we are unable to offer any reimbursement for flight costs or any other travel-related expenses. All bookings are made at the traveller’s own risk, and we advise confirming placement/outreach approval before making any non-refundable travel arrangements. Children under 13 will be included on their parent’s application form. As part of our Safeguarding policy, you will require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost up to an additional £30.
