Brazil: Amazon Hope This outreach is now full for 2026 but please use the button at the bottom of the page if you would like to be informed if it is run again. Travelling by riverboat to the most remote places with the least access to the Gospel in the Amazon region, intentionally engaging with least reached groups as well as those living in extreme poverty. Considering that the Amazon is not only an ecological challenge but also home to thousands of families living along the rivers within the forest. Some parts with little or even no access to the message of the Gospel. And inspired by OM's vision of implementing vibrant communities of Jesus followers (VCJFs), we aim to plant VCJFs in these regions inhabited by river dwellers and "Quilombolas", as well as in the area with the lowest Human Development Index in Brazil, located in Marajó archipelago and in others areas in Legal Amazon. This is a region marked by high rates of child prostitution, human trafficking, and extreme poverty across hundreds of islands that need to be reached with the love of God. Our desire for this journey is to send Brazilians and volunteers from different part of the world prepared and well equipped to serve in any cultural context among the least reached in Brazil. In partnership with the Brazilian Biblical Society, we will regularly use a vessel to reach out the most remote places with the least access to the Gospel, to bring the Word of God and His message of salvation, aiming to also provide social, medical, and preventative assistance against human trafficking.
