UK: Church Planting Immersion Programme 10 months - 1 year of training, mentoring and participation in VCJF (Vibrant Communities of Jesus Followers) ministry Join experienced workers for practical training in small group church planting principles to allow all people to be engaged in practical ways of fulfilling the great commission of ‘making disciples’ among the nations and seeing the UK as a mission field. This immersion programme is designed to help those who have a sense of calling to Disciple Making Ministry (in whatever situation) take the next steps by applying universal biblical principles of Disciple Making in ‘on the job training’ in an apprenticeship type situation. It combines formal classroom training with trainee placements. Participants will be mentored by experienced practitioners, with a typical schedule of one week of classroom formation followed by three weeks of placement. This hands-on experience in VCJF ministry ensures trainees are both trained as well as see God use them to fulfil the training aims. Dates Arrive 12th-13th September 2026 for 10 months - 1 year Apply by 12th July 2026 Cost Minimum £650 per month – may be higher depending on ministry location Ages 18+ Suitable for Participant Profile Participants will need to: Have a personal faith in Jesus Christ Agree with the tenets of the Christian faith as articulated by OM or the partner agency you are applying through Be able to communicate verbally in English with confidence Have experience in sharing the gospel Want to develop your evangelism and discipleship skills Demonstrate a desire for cross-cultural mission Have a working knowledge of Scripture Have already completed a six-month, or longer, training course in discipleship, or other similar experience Have a sense of calling to gospel, Disciple Making Ministry Accommodation Accommodation depends on the ministry location – it could be shared, renting on your own or at your normal residence. Health This training programme requires you to have good health and mobility. Notes Individuals applying must be 18 or over. The cost will be a minimum of £650 per month – this may be higher depending on the ministry location.
